Before the class started, I tried to get a small head start by
going on Codecademy to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I try to do this before any programming
class so that way I can jump right in to my assignments. It especially helps with the first few assignments because
those are usually just introductions and a means to learn the basics.
This class has been a good learning experience because I got to learn more about HTML and CSS and I also learned
about hosting websites. After this class is over, I'll continue to sharpen my skills in web development because website
design is something that I've grown to like. When I get some free time, I'll practice by making a few websites.
A few ideas that I have:
Redo the space website
Practice eccommerce websites
And I'll try to make them look professional - as if a big company put their website in my hands. I still think that
HTML code looks unaesthetically pleasing but hey, at least I don't have to touch Java for a while...
