About Me
My name is Bruce Obsaint, and I am a computer science major here at SCF. I am looking forward to this class because HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are the key components that make up the websites we use every day.
My love for computers began in my freshman year of high school. I learned everything I could about computer hardware and how to build PCs. After learning about computer parts, I decided that the next step would be to learn the basics of programming - which brings me to where I am today. I have learned quite a bit about programming concepts and I have picked up a few programming languages. I have explored Python, C++, Java, and now HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. One of the resolutions that I made for 2025 is to work on personal programming projects so that I can begin to build a portfolio. I believe that having a portfolio to show off will be essential when it comes to securing a job or clients in the future.
As for hobbies, I enjoy collecting things. My favorite items to collect at the moment are art books, particularly those showcasing concept art from movies and video games. In addition to art books, I also have a collection of LEGOs, model kits, and various anime figures. I recently bought a Kindle to build my digital library, and I have a growing collection of games as well.
